- Robins captain Elliot Minchella was answering fan questions on Reddit at the Grand Final Media Day!

Fans were able to engage with Hull KR captain Elliot Minchella through /r/SuperLeague on Reddit at the Betfred Super League Grand Final Media Day on Monday!
Minchella tackled the social media forum ahead of his side's second successive appearance at Old Trafford this Saturday.
Here is a snippet of Minchella's 'Ask Me Anything'...

wwrl_lewis: How much has the group mindset shifted going into this year’s Grand Final compared to last year’s? Best of luck and hope it’s a belter of a game.
Minchella: Our mindset is a little bit different as we're coming in with the monkey off our back in terms of having won silverware. It's a new year; a new team and we're playing against the same opposition but they're a different outfit in terms of what they're chasing - they haven't won silverware this year and that won't sit well with them.
PudWud-92_: If there was one set left to decide a game, do you prefer defending or attacking?
Minchella: Defend. Let's see it out!
Rholroyd90: Who were your idols/inspirations when getting into the sport? All the best for the final.
Minchella: I was a Bradford Bulls fan as a kid and Lesley Vainikolo was obviously the man back then. To be honest though, my idols are my dad and my granddad. They taught me everything I know.
CaptainMexicano: What are your thoughts on chip spice? Do the lads who grew up in Hull push everyone else to try it?
Minchella: Before I joined, I had no idea what it was and now I have it all the time! It's something we have at the club and it's great. For those who don't know, it's like a paprika salt and I'd never had it and then when I finally did, I was like 'wow, this is good!'
Neveless: Hi Elliot! First of all, I want to say how much of a credit you are to our club and it’s a joy being able to watch you play each week, hopefully many more to come! My question is, what do you order when the team earns a free breakfast? Do any of the team have an order that you find strange?
Minchella: We do get a free breakfast when we nil an opposition. It's a set menu but if I could pick the best breakfast - it would be Eggs Benedict. Every time.
Billyredneckname: What did you do to celebrate the Challenge Cup/League Leaders’ Shield wins? My hangover lasted about a week after Wembley, so I wondered if you pros were more sensible.
Minchella: After Wembley? It was hard because we had a game the week after, but it didn't stop us. We went hard! We didn't celebrate the League Leaders' Shield in the same fashion. That was a no alcohol affair and just a chance to recognise what we'd achieved but thinking of the bigger picture - this Saturday!
RRTRobins: Did you run your standing on the balcony at the Challenge Cup Trophy celebrations at City Hall past Health & Safety first?
Minchella: No, they went mad apparently! I didn't realise at the time. It was Jared who egged me on and said, 'go on jump up and get on there', so I thought yeah I'll do that. Our Player Welfare lady Sue told me that the Health and Safety were going mad behind me, and I had no idea I was just looking out onto the fans enjoying myself!
Spirited-Trust5943: What have been some of your favourite games to play this season? (Good luck on Saturday)
Minchella: Challenge Cup Final. Favourite game ever.
UnitedTruck_9758: Congratulations on a fantastic season. KR have always struck me as having a fantastic cohesiveness and team spirit. Is there one particular thing that stands out for you as being important towards it? Thank you and best of luck on Sunday (hopefully as a runner up!)
Minchella: It is so important as it helps us be successful but the reason why we believe in it and we are that way is because of the coach Willie Peters. He's very big on connection and that starts with him and then it filters its way down to the team and the playing group. You always try your best to connect and be friends with everybody in the squad and have common goals. It's powerful...
